Save My Betta is maintained by Pam Neely. Pam has had fish all her life, from goldfish and wild catfish to breeding discus and keeping koi. She is currently enjoying a low-maintenace relationship with a blue betta fish named Charlie.

Charlie has been mostly left alone by Max and Dolores Haze, the two cats that inhabit the house. The only interest they've shown in him is drinking out of his bowl. Rufus the dog seems to be upset by this behavior... possibly because he can't reach the bowl.
